11th October 2009 Brightona 2009 Brighton, Sussex UK I've spoken to the promoters and have been given the go ahead to get a stall there. (Any bikes welcome) We can also have a rideout along the front, Theres a bike lane stretching for a few miles. This event is always packed so we'll have loads of people checking out the bikes. Its opposite the Brighton Pier, on Madeira drive As its a charity event it'd be appreciated if you could donate of course (not now, on the day) But it'll be one hell of a day out for ya. Heres some more info. website www.brightona.net/Event Description: Brightona 11 / 10 / 2009 All entrance fees (for motorbikes that is )go to the Sussex Heart Charity. This year Bigger Custom bike show, Hot Rod Show. Three Music stages with more bands - 20 Bands so far. Loads of Trade stalls. Open to all Bikes, Trikes, Scooters So who's coming, It'll be well worth it ;D

Did you come in to see us (BestLeftDead) play at the Concorde 2? We may have had this conversation I can't remember. I know it was well after we'd both packed up with The Sweet Zeros. A stand down there with old Raleighs will go down tremendously well. It's not just bikers, lotsa Brighton folk go down there for a day out. I'll be there. Hopefully I'll get to Marshal somewhere rather than looking after stroppy bands with egos bigger than talent at the C2!

Speaking to Chris Riz last night I'm pretty sure I've got out of looking after the bands at the Concorde 2. If Matty doesn't collar me demanding I don a hi-viz waistcoat I might actually get to enjoy Brightona for the first time ever without either playing there or working there! Then again, I now feel compelled to ask if you need a hand with anything?........damn my infernal helpful nature!

I think the plan is to get down there with as many bikes as possible, and thats it. I've got about 12 bikes to get there. I will attempt to put up my gazebo but it needs fixing after i took it to someones house and they left it up for a week in the screaming wind. You got any old bikes hidden away that you want to show Ged?

The only catch that we get to show is that we can't sell anything on the stand or then we're a retailer and it'll cost me sorry.
