my youngest, Marley was born 2 years ago on the day of Brightona. A good mate of mine took the other 2 littlest down there while Jaz was in labour.

By the way if anyone didnt notice. The whole pier burnt down in 2004. Except that little kiosk on the left. Why? The thing didn't get touched!

The pier was in a state of disrepair and hadnt been used since the 70s. Years of reading about people arguing about what to do with the pier (practically every day for 10 years in the local rag) part of it collapsed after a big storm then someone decided to burn it down. Apparently a man was employed to at the land side of the pier to keep guard over it. I guess he missed that one.

I remember going on the West Pier when I was little, it had a big Victorian penny arcade on there It got closed in 1975 after a barge hit it in rough weather
