Picked up a NOS ribbed gear cable and fitted that




"borrowed" the patina'd pedals off the Twenty



It's slowly coming together, need to free off the stuck sissy bar next. JC reproman is on the case looking for a repro gearknob

I bought some brake blocks off a guy on ebay and he was reusing the jiffy bag and your name was under one of the labels

I found one that suggests RM paints code RC20 but going on their website can't find it.

MMm don`t know about that one mushroom says 98 onwards ? old trick was to take off the forks and get it scanned where the paint was inside the headtube, and still fresh looking.

Original gearknob turned up today from JC Reproman

It came to this, I'd had enough of bending the frame and snapping welds.
Once cut it took 5 mins to get the halves out, wish I'd done that in the beginning.
Got a second chance offer for a sissy on ebay this morning and also my tyres turned up. So it might be done for the Ace
I've now thumped blocks of wood to straighten the frame so it's back how it was apart from the cracked welds
