the missus can weld the cracks up and I've sort of straightened it enough with a block of wood and the bigger hammer As long as it rides I'm happy enough

Sorted . I have a five speed im working on with a few kinks, its comeing on slowly but surely. Its hard work to get them right.

It rides First time since I got it, I've actually ridden it round the block new tyres, sissy bar and chainguard thrown on this morning Stripped axle nut, bent chainwheel and a puncture didn't stop me (although slowed me down a bit ) I just need to paint the chainguard and weather it to match the rest of the bike

Thanks Wayne, it's not a patch on your lovely tallframe, but I'm more than happy with it. total cost so far
£100 bike £30 sissy £16 tyres £5 NOS gear cable £25 gearknob £2 brake blocks £17 chainguard £4 seat clamps
£199 and stilll needs some paint on the chainguard and some new brake cable inners
