This spans from Feb to Easter
here is the RSW bought from gus it was a good trip to Fife
Theres a voltage across the dynohub when My back at the garage in doune my glamorous assistant (dad) used a voltmeter to check
so its all good
the chrome on the light, handlebars and front wheell has come up nicely with chrome polish. The massive dent in the rear mudguard came partially out with the hammer i found, apart from that all of my tools are bell or ASDA
yesterday i took my trusty hammer in hand and bashed out the dent in the rear guard after removing it. luckily for me the next door neighbor is an excellent mechanic so i have entrusted welding up all of the splits to him pics added soon!
there are the remains of a raleigh sticker on the rear mugduard if anyone could enlighten me. when finished i will have a grif and or moulton (now I have a grif just a moulton to get)
rear mudguard back mostly repaired and kurusted as well as the frame and project chopper and also i have cunningly done it to the floor of the garage as well. 60s engineering must have been great asthe paint is so stubborn when met with my asda stripping knife asda glasspaper and my dad's wire brush. front mudguard away so its all gewd in the bike hewd !
here is what we did today
the rear centrepull came up really nicely with a bit o wire brushing. wheels are good if i have to rechrome will just get painted metallic gold to give it the look of practical classics Hillman Imp
the front mudguard is repaired
updates soon
