Hello all! After re-discovering the Bomber (the last time I rode one must have been 20 years ago) I really needone!! I was though just wondering about the design, I know the forks were already in Raleigh's stock from their "old man" type bikes, handle bars and curved top tube are fairly obvious for the look but the design of the rear seat stay, what is the idea behind having a bolted bar??

no idea, the frame was designed in the 50s for the african market, I expect the design team just kept it for simplicity. Welcome in by the way
