You are the only person thats ever noticed Windy's windmill being used for the beat! I especially like the way i called it 'These Dark Satanic Mills' taken from the words of Jeruselum I made Monolith for my partner when she was giving birth to Alfie. I made up a mix cd and added that, i looked over and the midwife was asleep I have other stuff but it needs completing. I've been slack. Thanks for listening to it matey

the windy miller influence could be fresh in mind as i got the "trumptonshire" dvd for my lad a while back - in one episode windy miller drinks himself to sleep/unconcious with cider! really like how you've worked it into a beat though mate - i always loved the sound of windy's sails! am i hearing any influences from 2001 - space oddessy in monolith? keep up the good work!

Yep theres a lot. The hissing you can hear all through the track is taken from the film and looped, tis the sound of space in the film. Theres the obvious sampled voices of Hal talking to the Astronaut and then theres the not so obvious breathing all through the track of the astronaut out in space breathing into his suit. Thats quite a light track for me. I made a track that sampled Christopher Lee somewhere and that is DARK DARK DARKer than all the other stuff you've heard. I've just got to finish it.

wow - i thought these tracks sounded quite dark, my normal level of electronic style music would be something like "hotchip"
to my untrained ear the looping you've done sounds excellent - also really like the echo-y sound of the speaking (not quite up on the proper terminology i'm afraid!)
