Drained the fuel, horrible stinky varnishy brown stuff came out. Tank is a mess inside. Carbs came off, one carb mount was glued on using mastic. Carbs came apart, more mastic was used on the float bowls contaminating the fuel inside. Choke plungers were seized inside the carb. It wasn't looking good, bearing in we'd just got rid of a registered, taxed and MOT'd bike Need to take the engine out to get good access to drill the snapped bolt out and retap it Choke plungers drilled out ok and I had a couple out of some scrap carbs that jaz picked up Stinky tank (nuts used to break off flaking rust)
