I've wanted one since I was 9. I even had a poster of one on my wall.
Went to look at a rough one that hadn't been on the road for 5 years. Rusty bars, leaking carbs and knackered forks put me off the £850 asking price. Well that and he told me he'd sold it once to a guy and he returned it saying it was only worth £400 (not good business sense really)
Came home and found a later G model (shaft drive), I stuck a limit of £1100 on it and won it for £870
We're off to Keswick in a few weeks so we're taking a detour to Sunderland to pick it up on the way home.
So now the CB250 and CB200 are up for sale to make room in the garage for the new beast. Even the Vespas miight be going
Possibly all the Bombers too
