Hey, I just thought I'd put up a pic of my new project, it an 84 I think mk2 Burner "black" I picked up on Ebay locally. Its in pretty good survivor condition although it has been painted at some point and I cant see the frame numbers. I'm lead to believe its an 84 model due to the dates on the brake levers being 7.83 and it also uses a mk1 seat. Plans for it are amberwall tyres a good polish rear relector pads in survivor cond Possible powdercoat?? strip the black paint of the cranks then get out and ride if the sun stays out longer that 5 minutes! Heres a pic Please let me know what you think. Rob

Lovely mate, I personally wouldn't powdercoat that, it looks like a great survivor! unless it definitely has been painted, the photo doesn't show that, from what I can see it looks great

Well, whilst the F&F are away at paint I got the solvol and (Nitromors) out and removed the paint off the crankarms and polished these few bits It took me 6 hours in total to remove the black paint and 4 coats of primer off the crank arms, whoever painted and rebuild this bike before me needs a blood good talking to because everything was either too slack or nor greased up enough! Heres my mint survivor padset I found on Ebay Oh its definately an 84, I stripped the paint off the rear of the seat tube.
