What a day, what a crowd and what a Ride out!
I'll Let the pics tell the story:)
On the way to the Ace, I had to detour to Hackney to meet up with Niteman1969. That meant a "Canal Run" which also presented a number of photographic opportunities, I only took a couple of them, but they did come out well I thought.
At 6am on the canal, 30 minutes into the ride and 7 minutes ahead of schedule, this was m first photo stop. It's a little park, to the rear of the main road to Stamford hill and is right next to the canal, It Is a shortcut I use and as I was heading through, I stopped as this photo opportunity presented itself.
Also decided to stop for some "moody" shots too...
Nearing my destination for the meeting with niteman1969, I came across a DRY canal bed. Somebody has obviously messed up the Lock working, was messing around, or work was due for this to have occurred but it does give a unique opportunity to see what is often hidden below the millions of gallons of water in this stretch of canal between these lock gates. Not pretty, but definitely interesting. If more time had been available, more studying would have occurred!
On the way, Niteman stopped into a shop for some supplies
AAAh, Finally! Pictures From the Ace Cafe
Heading out for the run....... How many Orange mk1's were there all in?
The Rideabout......
Back at the "Ace"
Travelling home at 65mph...........Hoover5ken asks if this is a record or not? Great fun Riding through the train too!
After arrival at Euston, we decided to have a Ciggy stop by the "police Car Park" which also featured in a 1970's "Cop" show episode.

HUUUUUUUUUUUGE thanks to Trev and Elaine for organising the event and for the "Goodies" What a way to End the event on such a high. Well done guys!
Sadly, some thieving Bar**ard stole my rosette whilst I was using the Euston Facilities!!!!
