basically, i had a moment of madness and decided to buy this: what is this i hear you ask? well. and inside was this and the build quality was BAD don't worry, these pump mounts are being removed as we speak it also came with these these and this needless to say, this saddle did not look like this out of the box! it was painted with red primer and then red gloss over the top. my file soon made short work of that though, and left me with a suede-like finish it also has some rather nice springs i also bought these but alas, they have sachs hubs, which are hard to get spares for over here, owing to sturmey archers market lead in the uk- here is the difference in toggle chains they are 28" stainless westrick rims with a nice pretty pattern on them then i nabbed this from my spares box and bought these and these dashing chain tugs getting there and nearly dry assembled next is cables. i have a sturmey quadrant shifter, which i am told will work with sachs hubs? now to file down them brazes and get her to the powdercoaters

well heres an update: i have filed the brazes to a fair shape on the forks, now to get on with the frame but uni work is currently taking precedence. i have a quote on coating which is rather favourable, and am thinking of two blue shades on the RAL spectrum. RAL 5004 or RAL 5011 but i'm not entirely sure yet. also considering a change to proper english 28" wheels with a rod front brake similar to that on an early tomahawk, and an SC3/AWC sturmey archer rear hub. also thinking i may get a set of waterslide transfers done, or maybe fake a rudge with a set of their transfers. or of course the pigeon badge is always there
