left hand crank arm bent in towards frame and not being straightened.

ive seen a few choppers with the same damage on the side, its done when a then bike is thrown on its side by the previous owner years ago or fallen over and then bends the arm as it lands. i had to replace my crank arma and spindle.

It's not so bad, at least the arm is now straight and the bike is rideable...
I'm thinking of having that gouge built with weld at some point, but we'll see how it goes.
I also finished getting the 3+2 setup too. Bit of a frankenbodge with the "Pin" I used, but it works all the same. Quite entertaining getting used to the shifting pattern, what with "missed" shifts and all the cursing about it.
1st is "underdrive" and 5th is "overdrive". 2nd, 3rd 4th are the standard gears which equate to the "AW" gears, yet are of a different ratio with the exception of 2nd which is always direct drive.
