Here's my little collection of the 5 grifter's I set out to collect and feel lucky to have achieved it. Hope you like um as much as i do.















Here's some individual pictures and a description.

May 76 pre pro (restored) Rare and very collectable, these were produced before the main production run in june and were put on show in bike shops, shows etc... The serial number starts NG6. They have slightly different handlesbars and super mx tyres.



May 76 pre pro in red (restored) At this present moment in time the only genuine complete and fully restored red pre pro.

I need to change the grips on this one as there later mk1/mk2 grips with holes in the ends.




Imported USA mk1 (restored) Again very rare and collectable. These had a complete metal chainguard and reflector pack as standard. There's not many of these in the uk with andy supergrip having the monopoly.



Imported Irish MK1 (restored) This bike is one of the rarest Grifters out there and the earliest Irish MK1 know to the forum. It has no serial number, different headbadge and slightly different decals with the omission of the union jack on the top tube.

Beautiful line up wayne... i would be very proud to own just one of your bikes that rare irish mk1 you have just completed finishes off your rare mk1's collection quite nicely... your are indeed the original grifter daddy! ;D

Yes indeed i do know mate! i am into them for the fun factor too, just as you, its such a shame some people take the fun out of the hobby by taking it all too serious and spoiling it for others i am glad you are sharing these pics on this forum, it keeps me in touch with the grifter world and keeps me smiling! ;D ;D ;D

I just ignore the idiots and enjoy what im doing gaz. For every idiot out there there's 50 good guys so if everyone ignored the thingys they would go away.

I know what you mean mate, but when you are personally targeted and ridiculed on a forum, its not a good thing. At least the admin on here did something about it a long time ago and barred said person from upsetting members.... yes, i will be here to stay and if and when i get out on my bikes, i will be sharing the pics on here.... i will keep on griftering pal, and hope to keep seeing plenty of pics of your bikes and outings in the near future!!.... cheers!!

Yes they all have wrap rounds as they are all rare early bikes. (and the wraprounds are all mint!) ;D
