hi, don't know if you've sorted this yet, but is the hub adjusted correctly? it almost seems like the gears are failing to mesh properly. also,when did you last lubricate the hub? if not, strip it down and have a butchers, its not that hard, and there are plenty of exploded diagrams on the web.
