please tell me you didn't cut up 4 mk2s to build that! No sir not me! Bought off ebay from a man who did cut up 4 mk2s about 8 years ago. He'd not done anything with it since then. A 450 mile round trip to pick it up...not bad for £30 though ;D

That's not going to be cheap to build up Are you going for 2 really long seats, 2 really long chainguards ? It needs some more welding, namely to tie both sets of forks so they turn at the same time and some seat stays for the frontmost seats if your going for 4 seats. Looking at it gives me a headache

get her shot blasted, to see the true extent of his handywork, plus it will get it back to decent metal for the further welding it will undoubtedly require. get a full canopy for it and make it look like the chuckle bros car!

In otherwords marcus, something like those things you used to find on holiday camps........
If it was me (and it is not), I would fit a "bench" type seat to the back.
As to the steering, a couple of well placed bell cranks and a tie rod would do the steering just fine. (just think of the setup on an R/C vehicle and you'll get the idea)

I think they talk about linking the steering.

Hi chaps, sorry to say that not a lot has happened with this, its still looking just like in the last pics. Its covered up & waiting for a bit of loving. I've gone on to restore a mk1 Chop, Grifter & Redline BMX since strating this. 2012 it will happen, the steering will be linked & the point about the rear riders catching their feet is correct. The inside rear foot would need to be pedalled with your heel rather than ball of your foot unless I can fudge it somehow. Theres also a bit of an issue with the chain hitting the frame on a support bar just as it gets to the rear wheel, that can be sorted though. Once built i'm really not sure how long it will last. As all 4 wheels dont have any form of suspension the frame will always be twisting, it will crack at some point & then out with the hack saw & i'll have 2 tandems ;D
