No, I 'd never heard on them either 
I saw it listed on Rewind by bmxgirl so I snapped it up.
I stripped it down to give it a once over and quick clean up as it had suffered with someone attacking it with a silver spray can
Chain guard had been sprayed black
the pedals had been painted black then silver
The chain was not in a good condition
cleaned up well though

I thought the chain guard was meant to be black as my b.f managed to get the silver spray paint off it!
