restoring a mk2 raleigh chopper frame

Hi,

Im looking for some advice on restoring a mk2 chopper frame,the frame needs some work ie paint and rust to come off.Is it ok to have the frame bead blasted or strip it myself, if i use nitromors would this bleed through a painted frame.
My next question is what companies would you recommend for a professional paint finish i dont want it powder coated.Many thanks.

Hi mate, Nitromors should have it off in no time at all. Never stripped a Chopper frame but Strika's and Bombers are down to metal in no time.

nitromors is good stuff , we did a whole camper with it

we just clear laquered the bare metal afterwards

before the laquer it looked it's best but no protection
