skinny 20inch rims?

Im building (slowly) a raleigh twenty as a lil outer town bike...

Where i live theres loads of lanes joining the towns such as winchester, southampton, romsey and eastleigh and as i ride between them alot but wanna be able to nip around in town i want a lil twenty that also goes well on an open lane...

Can anyone think of a wheel that would work?

Im tempted by a kids apollo ? full suss rear wheel. The rims are quite thin meaning ill be able to run modern 20inch shopper tyres... but its a six speed two.... hmmmm

There's an old dear near me who's Twenty has comp 3s on. She's got to be in her eighties too
