The raleigh arena i dislike because all my friends had grifters and could go on grass.....A miserable year was spent till papa would buy me a new bike.....then came a lovely bomber and i was a happy chappy.....  circa84 |

I liked the arena, I wanted one to put cowhorns on and ended up with a prismatic chopper instead

I had no probs with the arena it was well built..the bar tape was annoying though.. but i wanted to go off road...I was warned that if i destroy one more tyre it would be a cheap tyre...it did nark me but didn't really spoil enjoyment just aesthetics...

It was sold to a paperboy in 85 for 50 quid.. he left it outside constantly i saw it about a year later and i could have hit him ..what a pleb...
