My Black super (Cleaned up)

Well I now have another Super Grifter! an 82/7 Black & Gold.

It's almost 100% complete and original, right down to the R nuts on the front and back wheels.

as far as i can tell only the rear brake cable is non original (its not ribbed like the front and gear cable) and one lever cover is missing

Both tyres are original snake bellys (rear is U/S tho

Has a nice Dynamo ;D and a rear rack ;D

Not done anything to it yet (other than start to strip it down for a proper clean up)

Just a quick few picks, i'll get some more once its cleaned up and put back together




It s got plenty of potential, paint is good but super chrome is tatty on bars, seat obviously needs recovering. But generally very happy with it

nice - can definately see the potential in that, won't need much to get it looking pretty streetworthy! ;D the only other main bit i can see thats missing is the black crash pad off the handle bars. keep the pics coming mate!

Well she's in bits now. even got the stand out

soaked everything in Coca Cola for 24 hours should clean up well.

just got to remember how she go's back together now

Wll its took a little while to do, and plenty of hard work but the grifter is finally back together

I've not rechromed or painted anything just cleaned it all up as best i could for now.

The mud guards have been hand painted at some point

I plan to use it thru' the summer and I may give it a full resto in the winter.

All it needs to fully complete it is a bar pad and brake covers (I have one)

The super chrome is a bit tatty but looks a nce survivor really.

She rides well (and all the gears work )











It still has the original shop sticker, which I like


Overall not bad for 28 years old
