hello all, I'm new here so go easy on me! I have restored 5 Burners so far, but last weekend I visited my local tip and found this. They wanted £20 for it, but I got them down to £15. What do you all think? I know nothing about Grifters! Was it a good buy?

obviously the seat is bolloxed and in the photo above it looks as tho the forks might be bent (?) The plastic chain cover is broken, but other than that its all complete. Seems they have a gripshift type thing (?)

So many photos of Grifters where the forks look bent, and i'd have to say that they do look bent You can fix em sometimes though.

tyres will sell easily for a tenner so you're on to a winner in my opinion!

Good buy for £15 mate. Hopefully the handlebars will come out so you can straighten the forks. You can get most of the parts you need on the forum or ebay.
The rear guard may be a little tricky to find. Post the first few numbers and letters of the frame number then we can date it for you.
Strip, clean, get the parts you need and you have yourself a nice mk1 ;D

I'm not keeping it BTW. Want to just clean it up and sell on. They're not my thing tbh. I'll try and find the numbers tomorrow and see what year it is. If anyone's interested in it, its located in Norfolk and I'm open to offers.....
