I did a little bit more to her today, i went over to see roger and took some grifter frames to him to trike , then in return i picked up a front wheel with nice chrome , a rear rack , sissy bar springs and clips which i have added to the bike i have also ragged the old commy again today for its goose neck which is now on the chopper , and yes i know it should be a solid set of bars but i have a set of mk1 bars for her so i dont care much as its there to be ridden its not a matter ot 100% correction .
Sadly i have found out that the spindle that is in the new front rim will not accept the r bnuts so i am going to "borrow" the front spindle from commy at sone stage to solve this problem. Then all it will need is a seat and a gear shift to become complete oh and a redline , grips and all the other bits that you find that you need when you think you are getting close . On a plus , i found a chain today that fits it so im happy about that as is the chain , which was bought in from the cold dark shed and washed in hot soapy water twice and is not bathing in a bowl of engine oil , ps doesnt that stuff smell !!!!

Ah now there is an all too familiar question , and maybe , if i can find the lead from the phone to the cooter, anyway , i put on its new front wheel and redline tyre today , i have also added a front brake caliper and cleaned up the goose neck , all the bits that i got from roger are on and i am waiting for a set of spacers from the bay to arrive , and then it will stall again as i have no cash to continue the project for now . Iam keeping an eye on the bay to see what they go for , and if i can complete the build for £120 i stand to make a profit on her .

I am amazed / delighted at the amount of bits from the commando that will go straight onto the chopper , the front guard is the same so that went on today and looks the biz , well apart from the rust on it but did clean up ok , she is also now sitting on her own 2 feet as i purchased and fitted 2 new tubes today so her redlines are again doing there job . I have tried to find my media cable from my phone to cooter but no luck its getting there nonetheless

Its been sooo long since i have done anything , to her , but she is now adorned with a set of repro bars , grips , brake levers , and today she was given a rear guard that i had put on my mk1 , so its coming along , i am going to leave her as she is , and ride her around , and take her to shows , i have found a seat if its still available and then its just the gear shift and seaty bits its done , but it will be completed this spring
