i did originally put this thread on the grifter forum but it was deleted for reasons that are unknown to me, thats why there is a grifter in the background, anyway, i got this a while ago from coventry which will become tinks new transport round the garden, i was going to restore it but like it the way it is, im not sure weather its 60s or 70s but its really well built, even the seat is metal and it all seems original and was the first one ive seen with the full mudguard, a real bargain for £10.30 off the bay and after all, ITS A RALEIGH

ive seen a few raleigh tricycles but NEVER this one
almost art deco in style..really nice

cheers wazza, it dosnt look like anyone has messed with it over the years other than painting the handlebars black, i think they would have been white, it reminded me of art deco when i first saw it which gives it a classic look, im glad i havnt touched it although was tempted but it wears its battle scars well

I'm not just saying it because of the flash down the side but it does look like something out of Flash Gordon.
