i had my own dj business for 10 years, some good tracks in there..

my advice give the dj some time as well as he will have tracks and mixes that you cannot buy in the shops

if you need any help get in touch , still got me big cd stash

you will have to learn to do the dance from pulp fiction with the song from chuck berry

Cheers mate. I haven't got a dj, just playing them from my laptop, a friend is looking after the volumes on the night even though i've put everything to 89% volume (You never know, the sound may jump up and down a little. ) I am looking at djing myself in the future though. Tomorrow night i start roady-ing for a dj as i want to dj at weddings, birthdays and so on. Looking forward to it. I'm an absolute music nerd. I think i can get over the fact that the crowd will be demanding Abba and Wham, gulp

pay out for a dj mate, he can make your wedding , its not all about playing music, think of your banter, speeches, blending the tracks, reading the crowd

if you cant afford a top one get somebody with at least some weddings behind them

i was doing pubs and clubs for 3 years before i had the courage to take on a wedding

think about your crowd of people, they will expect soul/ motown mixes, rock n roll mixes, 60's tracks, wedding songs, party dances

if my work continues as it is i will be going back on the road soon.
