Oh i had a few different commodores and other computers that I threw out in my big clearout recently. a couple of boxed c64s, 3 or 4 loose c64s. 3 c16s. 2 Plus 4s. a couple of commodore serial printers. couple of 1084 monitors. had power packs. grey and white tapedecks. loads of games. But all got chucked. I only kept my 1541 disc drive and discs. And a few c64 cartridges. I guess I should have kept a c64 to sell with the disc drive.
DOH!

I hadnt used them for years. I used to buy and sell computers in the early 90s. Just a hobby. I should have sold them all years ago. But kind of forgot about them.
As for the 1541 disc drive. Ive got some new 6 pin din leads for it. and it uses a kettle power lead. I was going to mod a DTV joystick to use the disc drive.

I got my 6 pin leads from an electronics shop. They also suit from a BBC, Electron to a Microvitec Cub monitor. I had 3 of those monitors. My sister called them microwaves when she took them to the dump for me. The 1570 uses a different lead though. I think commodore changed the plugs to annoy people. And make them buy new stuff. I posted on a radio DJs facebook page about collecting computers. But since its the BBC. There not allowed to mention brand names. So I said..I had computers from Uncle clive, Aunty Beeb and Lionel Ritchie, or the band he used to be in. He read it out on air.
