It was cheap, and in a bit of a state corrosion-wise. With a T-Cut of the paintwork, some wire wool and solvol plus a coat of silver appliance enamel on the bars it's looking not bad at all now. I cut the standard grips off and will be fitting some repro Mk2 Chopper ones but keeping the gripshift. It rode really nicely and is very light compared to the Mk2 and the Grifters. Once it's finished I'll ride it around for a week or so then sell it on before Christmas.

Yep, seriously light. The mk3 chopper is parked on the garage floor and the 2 Grifter XLs hang from the roof beams from old inner tubes. That means I have to lift the heavy Grifters up to "park" and never lift the lightweight mk3. I think I got that arse about face somehow!
