Marauding on the Hi Trails

Hey I wanted a Mark one Raleigh Mustang MTB since they came out. My freind had one. The black and white ones with the horses sticker running along the top tube.

I looked out all my old Raleigh frames and built up a similar bike out of a Raleigh Hi Trail. Im going to get round to painting it black and white. Might fir a 3 peice crank to it.



Im going to put most of my bikes in the loft, after getting rats eating the grips. When the bikes are sitting in garage. I found 2 dead rats in my yard this morning. Hope thats them all.

So I thought i better wash the frames Im putting up in the loft. In case theres any diseases on them.



Woo hoo. Thats 2 20" bike frames. White ones a Marauder and the blue ones a Hi Trail

will the tubing not fill with water and start to rust from inside out

yeah the water poured out of them. The small holes at the ends of the frame tubes are to let welding gases out and to stop them filling up with water.
Had a Puegeot Elan road frame thats got an internal cable hole. that nearly peed down my leg whe I took it out of the water
I think the frames are a little to far gone with rust to build up. So they might get chucked to the scrap yard when my sisters going there.
