Thanks- It's really a bit of a mixture of parts so it's not a particular year- the frame is 1930s and the rest is 50s to 60s, I was lucky to find all the Phillips parts I needed- I started with the frame- built up the wheels and then collected parts from there, all the paint and bright work was redone- cost a bomb for the chrome though. I wanted a Phillips because that's also my Sir name. I may do a Superbe next if I can find the time- I have one sitting in the garage but it's been waiting there for a long time!

handsome looking bike. not seen a customised roadster with rod brakes on it. I like large flange hubs.

Hi Paul The bike in the background is a 79 Raleigh ladies bike but I don't know what model it is yet.

Hi Alec & many thanks for your kind words- This one was my attempt at a typical regular English 3 speed roadster, though I did cheat and go for different front hub, also the rims are Westricks, I am having some thoughts about building up another vintage frame like this with very modern parts such as discs brakes and a XT group set- I know it sounds daft to do this but I'm quite handy at brazing things together- could be a really sweet bike.

The paintwork looks lovely. The bike looks like its just been rode out of the shop for the first time.
