Budgie front tyre, argh

Spent a couple of hours today trying to sort the Budgie out.
Perished tyre came off ok, inner tube wasn't holding air, so tested it.
Valve was leaking so went out to find an 11" inner tube.
Everywhere I asked said they don't exist, even the Raleigh Bike Centre
Finally got fobbed off at another bike shop with a Continental 10-11-12 one. The guy assures me it'll fit

I struggled for another hour getting it in and the tyre back on and punctured it 3 times in the process

Finally went on ebay and found brand new tyre, inner tube and some new stabilisers..

Wish I'd done that in the first place

turned up saturday
fitted new inner tube and tyre today
didn't even need tyre levers to get the new one on
