this is my 1987 road ace and is one my all time favorite bikes, its in original condition without a mark on it and its never been out in the wet and always kept indoors, it might sound anal but these hand builts were a fortune back in the day the only thing its ever needed are new tyres and gear cables which stretched, even the bar tape is original, they dont build them like this anymore

That is spotless. I did think the break levers were rusty when i 1st saw them though. What are they? Lever covers or something?

Absolutely gorgeous, Carter!

I grew up near Worksop in the '70s living with my Grandparents. When the coal mine my Grandad worked at was closed he went to work at the Carlton Cycles Factoryclicky

Hence my next bicycle after my Chopper was a Carlton Corsa, which came out of the factory in bits, just like seemingly everyone's bikes in and around Worksop!

do you have some sort of remote control?
as the cables arent fitted
