Not touched it mate, apart from dragging it out the van for pics. It'll come to billing where hopefully someone there will have a better idea on where to start this project!

Love the forks, are you going to rebuild the rims into metric 26"ers?.................wazzas right, it would look cool with balloons on it..............they would have to be quick bricks though............none of this white nonsense...............or, if your going to the states for tyres anyway, get some of the red ones, they would look the tits.

I've only just realised it looks like a Bomber frame.

Well it was stripped down today and most of it came apart easily. I've found a few odd things on it for example the left pedal arm was fitted the wrong way round and I now believe kaiser to be right. The rear brake seems to be a later addition as the way it was mounted interfered wirh the pump clips I had to cut some bolts off that wouldnt shift bare frame The forks came out easily but the headset has a sort of double cup arrangement for the bearings. Easily sorted though. I stripped them down enough to remove the main spring and the other moving parts, they now move freely This is as far as I got with the frame Engine next! This wasnt so easy, It would appear that someone has already tinkered with the inners as the ht lead had been cut i plodded on stripping it down and discovered the tank still had fuel in it! Its about as strong as Johns fuel was on friday night A llittle more rusty tho' I removed the head to see how things were looking down the pot which looked okay, I then tried to turn the engine over and discovered that the piston is seized in the barrell All I can do now is wait for the duck oil to do the biz and free it up
