by the angle of those forks I'd suggest that the bike has been seriously overladed at some point!!

Cool I learnt to ride a bike on a butchers bike. My dad had 3. Only 2 were rideable. They were in the same condition as that one. I would thrash round the playground in the summer holidays. That was on a hill so I could get it to scrape the pedals going round the corner.  Think dad sold the bikes to a collector |
