ok the full story is as follows
once upon a time on ebay there was a very rusty mk1 chopper up the m6 by cheshire,no bids and .99p start,i watched it later that night and suddenly it changed to a buyitnow £50,suddenley my right finger twitched and hit the button,o sh*t how do i tell the wife ,anyway aparently someone emailed the guy for a buyitnow which they agreed on the price but i was a bit quicker he he.
went up and got the bike stuffed it in the escort and about to leave the farm when i happened to say have you got any other old bikes while im here,
he then said that his dad (who was really old) used to have a bike shop which he closed 20-30 years ago and all the stuff was in one of the barns,cold sweat/ nuts tightened/loss of breath etc etc,anyway most of the stuff was pre 75ish with lots of water damage pidgeon sh*t mouse droppings etc.
found tons of pedals r nuts cables 1920s racer bars brookes saddles 2x chopper gear shifters the type with the chrome base,a james bond harpoon gun boxed,bells,tyres all nos etc etc 2x escort estate fulls in the end.below is a pic after i cleared it out,i left nothing anygood trust me.wished id have taken a pic when i got there but didnt have a camera on me.the pics of mr rusty are now on the chopper pic section.
