just picked this little baby up ! all orginal and all there including r nuts only seen black cables on commandos before but this seems to have white ones ,they look like orginal gonna have fun building it will post pics when done ;D ;D ;D  |

i have a commando lee and it has white cables. Im going to strip it down and clean it up and rebuild it later this year. Whats your seat like? mines not very good. I paid £12.50 for my bike.  some grifter stuff fits it. |

the cables are orginal then ! the seats nice no cracks ive got a mate whos got nos seat ,think he wants a lot ov dosh 4 it ! ive had an orange one before that had black cables its also got diffrent grips on this one hub date is 06 80 i like commandos and still cheap 20 quid like you say has chopper/ grifter parts . nice chopper front mudguard think it will clean up nice  |

what are your grips like? There skinny on mine. My hub date is my hub date is 3 -74 quite a lot older than yours lee. How much does your mate want for the seat?  |

it maybe a chopper wheel paul? I will check it out (the wheel maybe worth a few quid!!!) I have a 79 hub in my stores!!! |

its a bit small for a chopper wheel !
the grips were like mk2 chopper i think
these are thin ones like smaller shopper ones
will ask about the seat on monday m8
has a rear wheel r nut which is nice
not to sure bout dates but they made a mk2 which is pooh

mines a mk1 like yours which is good. maybe they changed the rear hub at some point? dont know mate.

they were fazing them out in 80 ,so they must have been out a good few years before !

ive had an orange one ,theres black ,pink ,i think light purple ?

i might have got it wrong ,but i thought the camouflaged one with the grifter seat was a mk 2  |
