Cant really call this a full resto as all I got from Bomberman was the frame here she is in all her beauty and a pic with a little less paint. Should be up and riding by the B'mouth meet ;D

nice work did you strip the paint off yourself? I have mine sandblasted for a tenner (im a lazy git!!!) I know that will be a beauty im looking forward to seeing another mk1 on the road.

Yeah, nitro mors first then a wire brush drill attachment thingy followed by hand sanding the hard to access bits should get it completely sanded tonight

sounds like hard work but well worth it mate. I cant wait to see it all done. Are you going to ride it at the bournemouth meet?

A mate of mine asked me to look out for a blue MK1 for him, he's a plumber and has done loads of work at my house for pennies, so I thought i'd restore this one and let him know on the day of the meet that afterwards its his to take home unless I cant bear to part with it - then I'll just give him some cash and an ice cream

depends how much work hes done!! give him a mk2 and a 99 with chocolate sauce that will do he wont know the difference!!! (unless hes already one of the grifter gang in which case your screwed mate!!)

great, seems ive made a rod for my own back now, ive got the frame and some MK1 forks stripped and already I dont want to let them go nice coat of kurust added) primer to follow at the weekend
