Valentines

So what are you doing for Valentines day?
I usually mess up and don't book a table at a restaurant then can't find one. This year i have got myself together and organised something. Also got flowers and a card. I'm skint now

i got her a scratch card hoping we may win £40,000 for life (we didnt win) oh well its the thought that counts!!!

I was organized this year and booked a restaurant back in the beginning of Jan. I rang up this lunchtime to confirm everything was ok and they said they didn't have a reservation in my name. Mentioned that I'd booked it back in Jan and they guy said that they had started using a new reservations book and had forgot to transfer the booking.

Said i could still come down at 8pm but might have to wait a hour or so and see if they could put us in a corner.

Told them to stuff it.

Don't blame you Did it go ok in the end?
Mine was ok but a bit strange at one point. The asian guy serving said to me with the girlfriend listening "Have you a gift to give her sir?" I thought er what, what, er. My girfriend said i'd already done the gifts bit.
What a strange thing to say I thought a £40 dinner would've been enough of a gift on its own.

took the wife to the meant to be Bad Manners gig!!!, some other bands played, OK, got pissed got a kebab, now feel like S**t!!!
