what do you lot do when the cotterpins dont fit? Ive had to file them down as there a mm too wide! Anyone got any good tips?

the ones you just bought off me fit perfectly,they go in all the way,some modern ones have a less sharp angle so they dont go in,got more if anyone wants any

Do as they used to back in the day......
As my old supplier used to say (a raleigh dealer who sold Chopper, Grifters and everything else back in the day), "file the bl**dy things down with a B**t*rd file and make em fit like we used to do".
