Does anyone know what this is? I cant find anything written on it not even a serial number! Not sure if the paint is original either, although it matches the seat so who knows! It has a sturmey archer 3 speed twist shift with AW 66 6 on the hub which i presume means its a june 66. Wheels are 20 inch and the top tube on the frame is bowed. The mud guard has a raised bit on it

Elswick Hopper ? Saw one on ebay a while back but it had 26" wheels, can't remember what model though

Hmm, just done a google search and cant find any with the bent top tube but the mudguard and basket carrier hook?? look simillar.

The elswick on ebay a few months back looked the same as yours I was going to make it into a bomber GG it's not my postie but I have got a postie saddle in my parts bin somewhere

Be nice to know what the mystery bike is though, looks like it could be an interesting project.

Ive seen that film before :-) dont think mines that bike tho although i see where your coming from with what looks like a "bent" frame. So far ive been told it could be any of the following: Elswick Vindec Hercules Hudson
although im really not sure its any of them, quite a few have the same style mudguard but none have the twist/grip shift gears. The mystery continues.......
