Thanks guys.. Strip then a good clean and regrease should be all it needs to be a nice rider... it seems complete and with chainguard!! they usually go missing..

Thanks...Im well happy with it ..Its a 73 with serial number on dropout and mainly just surface rust on chrome and hallelujah a non seized sissy bar!.... the handlebars are rough thnugh, They are the only part im considering to change but it doesn't feel right to change them ....A rechrome may make them stand out to much... it has never had a nut or bolt removed, until now....and never been ridden for 20+ years.... l fixed puncture by changing the front wheel temporarily as it has a well strange valve... I took it for a short ride to test gears and it rode near perfect....thats what l love about vintage raleigh......
