got this off the ebay mainly as it was pretty local. was planning to give it a custom paint job but have decided to give it a clean up first to see how it looks





its got these rather snazzy michelin tyres fitted that look just like redlines only without the redline!

£22.01 in the end wayne so not too bad for a rider - the very nice bloke i got it from said it had been in the family for years!

near enough finished the clean up - fitted some new cheapy skin wall tyres tyres, recovered the seat and fitted some "reproduction" decals...







dodged the showers today for a quick shake down, seems to be running fairly smoothly - same old photo locations though

Good stuff mate - i love the black and gold supergrifter!! the decals i used on this are diy replicas i made myself, copied from a set of repros i got off ebay i while ago don't look too bad from a distance, but not suitable for a full on resto, here's a closer pic:

Thats really has come up well mate!!! very nice!! i love the shot of the 3 supers all together! i could really do with some of those decals! would you consider selling me some? its the only thing which is letting mine down at the minute! just fitted a gold chain to mine i think it finishes it off nicely.....

Cheers, glad you like! yeah, i was a bit wary of putting it on at first but now its fitted, i agree, it does look so right and should have been a standard fitment on this model!

agreed on the gold chain gaz - looks well smart! if i was you i'd definately keep the original decals though, yours don't look too bad and as someone once said to me once they're gone they're gone!

however, a while ago i investigated getting some of these decals made up professionally - was looking pretty possible so might re-visit that if there's suitable demand? (my "repro" decals were made with me cutting the shapes out of different coloured vynils using scissors gaz - definately not up to standard for a grifter of your quality!!)
