Hi all In one of my earlier posts I said I had a shopper circa 1976........turns out it is a raleigh 20 nova from between 73 and 75. It was originally bought for my aunt around that time and has spent the best part of its 30+ years in my grans out house, until last year when it was relegated to the garden...to awkward for my 90 yo grandad to move every time they needed access. It is pretty much original except for the seat....some parts look a bit tatty, but I think most is superficial due to the fact it has been dry stored for most of its life. Not sure if there is much interest in these? What I'd like to know is A. are there any compatible parts on this bike that can be found on other bikes of the era, such as grifter/chopper. B. what is the ball park value of these parts for poor/fair/good/excellent condition. I'd like to stress at this point so that I don't break any forum rules, that I'm NOT open to offers on these parts, just seeking info. If there is any potential value in stripping and cleaning then I'll do that to better assess condition and advertise at a later date cheers in advance chris

pardon my ignorance....is that good?....like I say it's a bike thats been around me for my whole life...crashed it a few times too but as the original post states, I have no idea which parts are genuinely compatible, and what the values are? I've seen similar items on e-bay, but that's not always a true indication of value.

They dont go for good money so i think you have two choices
1. strip it down clean all the parts, grease and rebuild (keeping it original)
2. strip, clean then sell all the bits.
Up to you mate. ;D
