got myself a bit of a dilemma and would be very happy if you's would give me your thoughts about this to help me decide. I bought a grifter before Christmas with the intension of doing it up to the best I can and using it, rather than keeping for show. but a couple of weeks back I got my hands on a bike that has been used very little, and I mean very little, chrome, paintwork, plastics, seat, everything looks perfect, so Ive got an awesome bike to ride in the warmer days, or have I? I'm starting to think that this bike is a one that should not be rode, but showed, which will always keep it new as riding will not. so shall I use it with the biggest grin and catch flys on me teeth, or shall I sell it which will make me a good profit (which I could do with) and stick to my original plan and do up one of the Severn I now own. please help coz its got me in a bit of a twist. what would you do, shall it stay or shall it go or something else? cheers, Andy.

if theres good profit to be made and ya need the cash, then flog it! If ya worried about damaging it when ya ride it, then flog it! if ya gonna keep it as a show piece and ya damage it you're gonna wish ya flogged it

Sell the shiny one , get top dollar and let the oldie live and rise again , i have seen the pain when a show bike is damaged at a show , that way you get the best of both worlds , i am selling grifter bits to raise funds to rebuild my chopper to then sell on to let another live again .

See it all depends who you talk to. I myself find it hard to give away anything. But 1 thing is for sure, the more perfect the bike is, if i'm a huge fan of that bike i wouldnt get rid of it for anything, well maybe a Mongoose(thats a joke, a few of the others will get it ) You've just got to take your bike to a show and watch the peoples faces.
