posted this up on grifter forum but like the look of this site as well
need to post up more on here really
silver mk2 grifter
basically stripped it all down, cotter pins as usual nightmare...
degreased everything, chrome dipped in oven pride,
greased all bearings in headset, bottom bracket.. wheel bearings..
stripped frame with flapwheel.. primed ... flatted primer, 3 coats of paint, 2 coats of laquer
rebuild then started ... had to rebuild hub as part snapped
thanks paul for part nice one
everything a good wash
all back together bit of polish just got to put decals on
will do for me as good daily rider

Good first effort mike. I would look for a mk1 seat and headbadge, move the backwheel back a bit to take the slack out of the chain and move the bell to the left hand side. When you put the new decals on make sure you put them in the correct position. Other than that good effort.

decals are on and in correct position, yeah chain a bit slack no big deal seat well its a mk2 seat, mk1 seats not turning up dont bother me or my son who is using it so will stick with this seat as for bell i like it on right hand side

I no longer post on the grifter forum as its gone downhill fast since some of the quality members left. Theres too much rubbish posted and im afraid to say admin have no real control or power.
I wont post any more pictures of my bikes as its just not worth it.
It needs to move to another site, then and only then can it be the site it should be.

It still needs admin to have full control of the site or fag boy will only rejoin as someone else!
