wow thats the best conversion ive ever seen, it looks totally stunning in that colour with those decals, why couldnt raleigh have got the mk3 to look that good

you have actually made that mk3 look better than when it was new, I guess in a few years time we'll all be doing mk4 conversions

Cheers guys, still a lot of tinkering to do. And the next time I would definitely cut off the crank support bracket, which you can see best in the first pic. Then the only give away it was a Mk3 would be the oval tubing and the big headset!

Sorry dude I already got a 73 mk2 rebuild on the go and a 79 prismatic. If I had more space I might of took you up on that one!

Finally got around to doing the brakes today. Now just have to stick a chain on it and set up the gear cable. Nearly finished. 16 weeks to Billing, it should be ready!

Right finally got around to finishing the MK3 project. Did the chain, gears and brakes today. Rides nice, I actually prefer it with the bigger handlebars, it helps the ride.
