I shouldnt think so. As the Ashtabula plain BB is much bigger diameter. So you can wiggle the cranks through the hole. Even the smaller bb that you get on tink kids bikes is bigger than the screw in BSA standard bb
Italian BBs are in between the diameters. But not used on english bikes
