Dunno about the seat, it's kind of grown on me. If anyone wants it particularly I'll consider swapsies but otherwise it fits with the rat's ethos.
I don't rightly know what it's from originally but the Grifter came used, in about 1981 (It's a 1979) to the guy I bought it from as a replacement for his BMX which was stolen.
Those Dunlop stickers virtually fell off. I think it was mostly grime keeping them on, and it's doubtful they'd have survived the wd40 shower anyway.
The pics I've posted previously probably make it look in better condition than it is, particularly the frame finish.
The wheels are great except for the awful captive bearings that Bernardi used. The front ones I've sorted with the cones and spindle from the original Grifter wheel but the rear ones are still noisy and may get replaced with separate balls in the near future.
