I've got some forks that you can have. But theyre probably not as clean as those. You can straighten the ones you have if it annoys you. I stood on one of my pairs and kicked em straight They'res better ways than that. A vice must work. But lovely looking bike. I love XLs. Its a lot cleaner than mine, and you really have got the bug. Are you coming to display your bikes at Brightona with us? I think if we lock the bikes up and get our neighbours to watch em we should be able to get a good ride out along Brighton.

Thanks Paul. I think I know what you are saying about the forks. The forks themselves appear undamaged but looking at the straight line through the headstock as per the 2 pics below, the line of my forks is set further back so it looks like the forks are out of line with the stem. Am I right do you reckon? Cheers for the offer, Brett but if I'm right as per the above then I should have what it needs to fix it, ie vice, workmate, blowtorch, 25mm steel tube, rubber mallets etc. If I screw it up I'll be on the phone for those forks no doubt. I have also discovered that the gear cable is too short. Can you get the ribbed cable outer any longer? Do you guys solder up your own inner cables to suit?

wow technical stuff! Soldering up inner cables sounds a bit iffy to me, I just hunt replacement cables or broken bikes with servicable parts. I have some cables if needed

Ah cool! Can I buy that from you, please? (and get some advice on its proper routing ;D) What do you reckon on my conclusion of the forks/stem bend?

£7 for that cable or I have good used ones cheaper I think you need to look at other bikes as the angle of the pics look different to me mate. Cable runs down the left tube then cuts accross behind the seat tube, if that makes sense
