that looks sooo good.i,ve had a frame in my mates vw garage for a while waiting for a beetle to come in requireing some 'herbie' L87 code paint.amazingly vw refused to sanction the use of its car in the movies so the film makers had to remove all vw logos from their cars, they even used porsche 356 chrome hub caps instead of vw ones, pity cause it looks great on a grifter.

Done some research, VW insisted that the VW logos be reinstated for the second movie in 1974. Only the 1969 film car had no VW logo's on it. Interesting factoids though
