well, here it is in all its glory! Its not too bad if ya like BMXs as it has long pedal arms and is quite high geared. Being 6ft tall its not a practical bike for me but its not too bad. Raleigh have a no expense spent style on this bike, the pedals looke like they've be sprayed with a can of colour match paint and the bearings on them are very grindy they wont last long. The seat allthough padded is uncomfy. Tyres are a nice tread pattern and the only thing that has remained the same from the original bike is the size 26x2.125!! Grips are similar to the mushroom grips of days gone by and are quite comfy but what they'll be like after a few miles remains to be seen (not by me!) All in all, not a patch on the original but as a cheap hack about its not too bad

Will the tyres fit the old one? And does anyone know where you can buy schwinn tyres as an alternative to the Cheng Shin snake bellies originally fitted? Another example of catering for the majority, all Halfords tyres are black mountain bike jobs. Graham.
